Amend the Government of Wales Act 2006 and to devolve powers to set bank holidays.

B e it enacted by the King’s most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Amendment of the Government of Wales Act 2006

(1)

The Government of Wales Act 2006 is amended as follows.

(2)

In Schedule 7A, Part 2, Section N4 (Time), omit “, bank holidays”.

2 Commencement and short title

(1)

This Act comes into force on the day on which it is passed.

(2)

This Act may be cited as the Bank Holidays (Wales) Act 2022.
